The appartment is well equipped and provides everything which is needed for a comfortable stay (also Internet access). We loved the open fire. Coming back to Amsterdam we would stay here again. Short term parking in the street is possible but for longer than 1 day we would recommend the P+R garages available not too far away."

The neighborhood is attractive and quite pleasant. The location is comfortably distant from the busy tourist sections which can be accessed in fifteen minutes by foot.Grocery shopping is accessible within a few blocks of the residence. I would stay at this apt again should I find my way back to Amsterdam. The couple who own the apt/building live downstairs and are very nice people. Be mindful of bike traffic at all times lest you could easily suffer injury which could be quite severe. The Zoo,Artis Zoo, is the best zoo ,in my view of the many zoos I have visited over the years.It is indeed extraordinary and worth a days visit. The Concert Hall is exceptional. I enjoyed my stay immensely "

G&V United Kingdom (06/13/2010) "We loved the apartment espeically the features such as the fireplace and clock! The use of the balcony made for a couple of pleasant evenings. Internet was avavilable. The host was there to greet us and was very helpful. The area is very pleasant and quiet and has some very good restaurants - a pleasant retret after the busy centre. Only slight downside was the small bedroom (but you can see this from the photos). Would definitely stay here again."

The apartment was very well equipped, and had everything we needed in terms of kitchen equipment etc. We stayed in December/January and particularly appreciated the real fire! We were able to get free wifi for our laptop from the hotel next door. The neighbourhood is ok - very convenient for the Vondelpark and about 10-15 minutes walk to Leidesplein and on to the main canal belt. There is a big supermarket within about 5 mins walk. We were there at New Year when most of the restaurants seemed to be closed, so didn't find anywhere good to eat out locally. Our hosts were charming and friendly, and live downstairs from the apartment. We are a couple in our late 30's. This apartment would suit a quieter couple/friends/small family better than party animals, who may not like the peaceful location as much as we did!(in my younger days I too would have preferred to have been somewhere a bit more lively!)"
