Stove & oven work well, good fridge. Seperate bedroom was appreciated. very close to tram stops. Right across the canal from a red light street. Apt, was clean & well mantained. Host was very nice. Inken Fuljahn Germany (15-04-2010) "take tram 16 or 24 to get there to the nice but on working days a little loud appartment located at a typical gracht which gives an interesting impression of red light destricts daily business... thanks to the hosts kind brother who gave us the keys we got hot spot information from the first moment. more comfi with 2 people only, 3 and more is a little bit crowded. the queen sized bed is a little bit shaky. great located to de pijp and museums (order tickets online in advance). try indonesian food in the restaurant Bahli just over the bridge on the left.. delicious&spicy! bring nespresso capsules so that you can use the great coffee machine ; ) I would come back if I catch the chance!"

Host easily contactable by phone to arrange arrival / departure time and keys. An interesting view of the working girls opposite which gave us some entertainment. Very cold/snow when we were there and the apartment was warm and cosy. 30 mins walk to the centre but plenty of local restaurants try pasta e basta which is 15 minutes walk . Look on their website as we booked from the UK to ensure we got a table. Taxi's are easy to find although a little expensive, especially if taken from the station. If it had been warmer (-2) we would have walked more. No hanging space for clothes . No Kettle but happy to make tea with a saucepan . We would go there again."
