It was great to be able to make toast and cook things on the stove, which you can't do in a lot of places. Unusual as it is a house, not an apartment, and you don't have to climb up lots of stairs! Notre location était très confortable , calme et ravissante, très commode d'accès depuis la gare centrale , via le tramway n°4, à seulement 10 minutes du centre-ville. De plus, nous avons trouvé au bout de la rue tous les commerces de proximité nécessaires. Vraiment très bien situé. Et notre hôtesse, Jose était charmante et pleine de bons conseils pour découvrir au mieux Amsterdam. Not only was it the best equipped, but Jose', our host, really made us feel welcome. This location has a lot going for it. Plenty of restaurants in the neighborhood, shopping, etc. Situated a few minutes walk to the tram, you can be just about anywhere in Amsterdam within a very short time. Would I stay here again? You bet I would. "

The location was fabulous - there were good restaurants and local grocery stores just down the street. We found that since there were 3 of us that is was just as cheap to catch a cab as it was to use the public transportation. This apartment was just 3 blocks away from The Green House which, of the 4 coffee shops we tried, was our favorite. Jose was a wonderful host. She was very friendly and had a lot of information available about what to see and do in town. The beds were very comfortable (no bed bugs) and the in floor heating in the bathroom was a nice luxury. The kitchen was fully equipped and the house was spotlessly clean. I would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend this accommodation to others."

Our host was extremely friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome. Public transport via the tram system was excellent, and the house is in approx. 20-30 minutes walking distance from the centre of Amsterdam and about the same distance from the museumplein. There is a large number of shops and restaurants in the neighbourhood, including a large Albert Hein supermarket and lots of smaller shops too. Nice bakery at the corner of the road. I would recommend this accommodation! "

I would definately recommend this property to any one visiting Holland. It is about a 10 min tram ride to the city. The Green House coffee shop is literally less than a 3 minute walk away from the house. Very convenient. The local grocery store store is about a 5 minute walk from the house. If you are looking for a clean, quiet place to stay for your visit in Holland, I would recommend this place for sure. Caution: Stairs are steep, so be sure to keep in mind! Overall, the house is very comfortable, cozy and inviting. The house will accomodate a fairly large group due to their being a double bed in one room, two single beds in the other bedroom, and also a roll out bed is provided just in case."

The accommodation was spotlessly clean, had everything we needed, and was in a friendly and attractive neighbourhood just a few minutes by tram from the city centre.
