The apartment was nice and clean, with all kinds of comforts and useful things to get some relax and cooking during a visit to Amsterdam. The owner was very kind, gave useful suggestions as regards markets and shops, and allowed some more time after the check-out to have a last meal before departure: thanks Guy! Very comfortable way to visit the town, feeling as you are at your own home: I would recommend everybody."

For the conference we were attending the location was ideal as it was only 5mins walk from the main ADE area. Jordaan is a fantastic area and this apartment is right in the heart of it. The apartment, although small was comfortable and clean. We were under the impression it had a separate bedroom when we booked but it doesn't. Fortunately for my female friend i was sharing with the shower room is large and she could change in there! The sofa bed is comfortable enough. There are steep stairs to get up to the studio so be aware of that if you have difficulty walking, etc. Guy the owner is very welcoming and keeps out the way even though he lives upstairs. He's an excellent host, has many entertaining stories and is a great guy to share a drink or two with. All in all, a pleasant stay and recommended for a single or a couple. "

Susan Gernhofer United States of Amerika (06/06/2011) "I stayed here with my boyfriend just a couple weeks ago and we absolutely loved this apartment. Stayed for 3 nights May 2011. The host, Guy, was very helpful and friendly and provided us with a map when we arrived and pointed out several places within walking distance to check out. Plenty nearby- restaurants/cafes/coffeeshops/pubs/etc. Anne Frank house is only about a 5 minute walk. And a large grocery store about a 10 minute walk away. We were able to easily walk to the Center and everywhere we wanted to go in the city- never had to take a tram once. The street the apartment was on was nice and quiet and there is a canal at the end. The apartment itself was super cute and had everything we needed. It was plenty big, the balcony was nice, and the bed which was in a raised little nook, was extremely comfortable. Lots of TV channels available and free Wi-fi which was super convenient to have. The stairs up to the apartment (located 1 floor up from the ground) were tiny and steep, but not an issue for us whatsoever. We carried our luggage up and down no problem. All in all, a wonderful place to stay and we would definitely stay again. Thanks again to CityMundo and our host, Guy, for the fantastic accommodation! :)"

El apartamento es acogedor, bien equipado, con un dueño encantador, y muy bien situado: una calle muy tranquila, en un barrio con mucho encanto, no totalmente céntrico (por eso es tan tranquilo) pero suficientemente cerca de todo. Es buena idea alquilar bicis, porque aunque en el centro de Amsterdam todo queda a un paseo, pueden ser demasiados paseos y acabar algo cansados."

The accommodations are very cozy, the kitchen is well-equipped and the apartment is in a great location (nice and quiet, totally safe and close to everything)! Real nice apt.no street noise,and had everything i needed.Guy the owner is a very nice man. I had no problems at all. I would consider renting a bike because the apt.is on the edge of marnixstraat and the walk to the city center gets long after a few trips. Cant wait to go back!"
