Op het terras staan fijne ligstoelen, er staat een eettafel en er is een barbeque. In het penthouse is een slaapkamer met een tweepersoonsbed (of twee eenpersoonsbedden) en een (via de slaapkamer toegankelijke) badkamer met ligbad en douche - in de woonkamer zijn twee éénpersoons slaapbanken. Draadloze internetverbinding is aanwezig. De ligging is zeer centraal en tevens zeer rustig, tegenover een van de oudste diamantslijperijen van Amsterdam, vlakbij het Rembrandthuis, de Opera, Hermitage en het stadhuis.

We stayed for four nights and needed nothing else. I would like to take this opportunity to thank our lovely host Claire once more. She runs an art workshop downstairs. The apartment has a seperate entry. Claire was very friendly and made us feel welcome from the moment we stepped into her office. I can recommend this apartment to all visitors without hasitation. "

Grocery store right around the corner and located in the middle of everything, but on a very quiet street. Your host, Claire, is the very best, she insisted in helping me carry our suitcases upstairs ("I am very strong, she said") and provided all kinds of tips and hints in perfectly laid out notebooks in the apartment. It got a little cold outside our first night and Claire was at the door in the morning with a huge down comforter, worried that we might have been cold (we weren't). Very friendly and helpful owner who lives downstairs. It was just a pity the weather didn't hold up for us to use the balcony and the two barbecues! Only negative point: Some mosquito protection should be provided in the summer months. Having the light on and the doors or windows open (it gets stuffy) attracts insects from the nearby canal. We fortunately had some repellent with us to avoid being bitten, but would have welcomed something to burn or plug in and stun/kill the mosquitoes. They are probably not a problem for most of the year, though. "
